Upon succeeding to achieve re-accreditation from The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) continuously shows its commitment in becoming one of the leading business schools. FEB UGM has officially taken part as a member in Global Business School Network (GBSN) starting July 2019. GBSN is an international non-profit organization working to strengthen the network of leading business schools to contribute in fulfilling the needs for future managers, entrepreneurs, as well as leaders in developing countries by improving the access to relevant quality management education in a local atmosphere. FEB UGM believes that their membership in GBSN serves as a way for business schools to build relationships with fellow like-minded colleagues around the world to contribute in programs designed to train and develop member schools and to seek new opportunities to grow and thrive in a global scale.
Alongside with 99 other leading business schools from 48 countries, FEB UGM will actively take part in programs held by GBSN and encourage lecturers to participate in teaching and writing study cases, disseminate and promote information related to students or lecturers mobility aside from attending events organized by GBSN. FEB UGM also commits to develop leaders who serve the community, which is also aligned with the mission stated by GBSN. This regard then underlies FEB UGM’s interest to join GBSN as a member. One of FEB UGM’s commitment to serve the community started in 2018, where FEB UGM recently applied a fresh approach to its curriculum, namely FEB Excellence (FEB X). FEB X will provide students with opportunities to be actively involved in real industries and will result in contribution to society.
