Indonesia for the first time held the Presidency Group of 20 (G20), a cooperation forum for 20 major economies in the world. To support this G20 activity, the T20 was formed as a form of idea to carry out the G20.group was formed force which was managed in a decentralized manner that was adjusted to the expertise of research institutions. Task Force 8 which is one of the task forces at T20 will be represented by PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (PII), Economics and Business Research and Development (P2EB) Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), and ERIA (Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia).

On Thursday (7/7), the Microeconomics Dashboard of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a program titled Meet The Expert #2. Meet The Expert #2 examines the Green Economy polemic. This event invites Prof. Arief Anshory Yusuf, S.E, M.Sc., Ph.D, Professor of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Padjadjaran. Meet the Expert #2 moderated by Shima Dewi Mutiara Trisna, S.E., M.Sc. Meet The Expert #2 discusses the big question of whether this Green Economy is feasible for developing countries like Indonesia, as well as the opportunities and challenges that Indonesia will face if implementing a Green Economy.

On Saturday (02/07) Master of Management Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (MM FEB UGM) held the 34th Anniversary Celebration. The Anniversary was held on a limited offline basis at the MM FEB UGM Auditorium. This celebration was based on gratitude for the achievements and developments of MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta. It is hoped that this Tasyakuran (ceremonial feast to express gratitude to God) can be an encouragement to increase the success of MM FEB UGM to become a global business school, with global reputation, while still upholding local wisdom symbolized by UGM’s philosophy, which is "Locally Rooted Globally Respected."

On Tuesday (28/06), the Laboratory of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a Learning Together at the Department of Economics webinar (BersemIE). BersemIE is an event to facilitate the academic community, especially those from the department of economics FEB UGM, who want to share about their research or studies. In this webinar, BersemIE discussed a paper titled as “Global Value Chains Participation during the Covid-19 Pandemic: A Dynamic Panel Approach” written by Josephine Wuri, M.Si, together with Prof. Tri Widodo, M.Ec.Dev., Ph.D., and Amirullah Setya Hardi, Cand.Oecon., PhD.

Plastic is a material that is often used by people around the world, one of which is in Indonesia. The ease of using plastic allows people to always make use of it in their daily activities. However, this is harmful to the environment. Therefore, some figures began to introduce the concept of a circular economy to reduce existing waste. To discuss and increase awareness of this, Faculty of Economics and Business UGM brought up the topic "Circular Economy in Indonesia" in International Week (I-Week 2021) on Friday (30/07/21).

On Monday (27/06), the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM held the opening ceremony of Summer Course International Week (I-WEEK) 2022 with the theme "Post-Pandemic Rebuild and Recovery: Entrepreneurship Survival, Business Resilience, and wellbeing Economics.” This event was done on a hybrid basis, offline on the eighth floor of the Learning Center at FEB UGM and online through Zoom Meetings. I-Week is an annual event organized by FEB UGM as a form of short-term learning in the summer. The series of I-WEEK events start from 27 June-8 July 2022. For I-WEEK 2022, FEB UGM collaborated with the Faculty of Mathematics and Sciences (FMIPA) of UGM and the Faculty of Psychology of UGM.
