Delegation team from Universitas Gadjah Mada was awarded as the Best Paper of Fashion and Cosmetics Category in Annual Islamic Economics National Symposium named Temu Ilmiah Nasional 2017 held by FoSSEI (Forum Silaturahim Studi Ekonomi Islam) on 28th to 29th April 2017 in Yogyakarta. The team members who also the members of SEF (Shariah Economics Forum) are Elvira Ayu Nurkhasanah, Hasibuana Laras Kinanti, and Khusnul Khalifah (Economics Batch 2016). The paper entitled "Online Mentoring sebagai Business Incubator untuk Meningkatkan Komoditas Ekspor Modest Fashion Indonesia" presented in the symposium with the theme "Optimizing Indonesian’s Potential towards the World Halal Lifestyle Center". Not only a paper competition, the delegation should give their recommendation to certain stakeholder by upholding the principles of Islam.

The symposium itself was participated by 50 teams as finalist who won the previous competition, Temu Ilmiah Regional (Temilreg) which held by FoSSEI regional and also the representatives of Kelompok Studi Ekonomi Islam (KSEI) coming from universities all over Indonesia.

There are 5 categories in this symposium as the derivation of lifestyle as its theme, which are food and medical, media, tourism and culture, education and financial, then fashion and cosmetics. Temu Ilmiah Nasional this year also presented another sub events such as international seminar, Islamic economics olympiad, business challenge, FoSSEI workshop, achievement motivation training, feminism seminar, bazar, gathering night, and field trip.
