FEB UGM Student Won 2nd Place in AUTUMN Islamic Paper Competition at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta

The delegates of the Shariah Economics Forum UGM and Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, namely Muhamad Bayu Prakoso (Economics 2017), Alif Abang (Management 2017), and Muhammad Jourdan Prasetyatama (Management 2017) for AUTUMN Islamic Paper Competition, organized by the Islamic Economic Intellectual Forum (FIES) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta on 30th April to 1st Mei 2018.
AUTUMN Islamic Paper Competition, held at the campus of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Bantul, Yogyakarta is participated by 10 teams from 9 universities namely Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Negeri Islam Sunan Kalijaga, Universitas Negeri Padang, Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Universitas Diponegoro, Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Ampel Surabaya.
In this contest Faculty of Economics and Business UGM delegation is included in the subtheme of "Islamic Digital Economy", where in this competition FEB UGM delegation presented Scientific Writing (KTI) entitled "HIVI: Information Provider Platform, Big Economic Data, and Halal Supply Chain Management By Implementing Blockchain Technology as a Solution to People's Economic Problems". KTI is discussing about the implementation of Blockchain to improve the value of firms and equity of halal certificate in management function by adopting the concept of MUI and APRINDO website. KTI itself is very well received by the juries who are academics of UMY, Supply Chain Practitioners in Indonesia.
Alhamdulillah, FEB UGM delegation succeeded the name of UGM by winning 2nd place in the competition. While the title and other awards obtained by other university delegates, the 1st Winner is obtained by delegation from Universitas Negeri Islam Sunan Kalijaga, 3rd Winner is obtained by delegation from Universitas Brawijaya. Hopefully the future of this achievement can be maintained and more and more students of UGM, especially FEB UGM, who participated in the next competitions.
