The team of undergraduate students from the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM consisting of Graini Annisa (Accounting 2016) and Maura Finessa Winayo (Accounting 2016) won First Winner in the Accounting Paper Competition (APC) Diponegoro Accounting's Harmony (DASH) that was held on 28-29 September 2018 at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Diponegoro (FEB UNDIP).

Two student team from Undergraduate Program Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) won 2nd Winner and 3rd winner in Scientific Writing Competition - Diponegoro Financial National Competition (DEFINE) 2018. This competition were held on September 19-22, 2018 at Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang. The first team "Bulaksumur" consist of Sultan Alfiantsyah (Economics 2017), Muhammad Nabiel Arzyan (Economics 2016), and Rema Prostinaldo Yunanto (Economics 2017) won the second position and awarded as Best Speaker. The second team "Fulqentius" consist of Regita Yosi Utami (Economics 2016), Jonathan Farez S. (Economics 2017) and Leila Chanifah Zuhri (Accounting 2017) won the third position.

Aceh Rampoe traditional dance community of Universitas Gadjah Mada (Rampoe UGM), one of its member is Fairuz Hasna Oktriany (Economics 2016), had won a gold medal in Wonju Dynamic Dancing Carnival 2018 in South Korea.

The 'Navy Rangers' team consisting of students from Universitas Gadjah Mada, University of Melbourne, and Melbourne CIC Higher Education won third place in the Australia-ASEAN Youth Summit (AAYS) Case Competition 2018 held by ASEAN Youth Organization of Australia (AYO Australia). The team consists of Veronika Xaveria (IUP Business 2016 - Double Degree Program at the University of Melbourne), Jun Wei Ang, Yifan Wang and Yennie (Tran Hai Yen) Len. Conferences and competitions attended were held at Jasper Hotel Melbourne, Australia on Saturday, August 25, 2018.

The Indonesian Student Debate Competition (KDMI) is a competition organized by the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs (Ditjen Belmawa) of the Republic of Indonesia. This competition uses the Asian Parliamentary System. The Asian Parliamentary System (APS) system is a system which adopted from the debate competition system between Asia Pacific universities.
