The Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) will again hold the Global Summer Week (GSW) from July 15-25, 2024. At least 100 students will attend from various countries worldwide, including ASEAN universities, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Belgium, and Scandinavian countries.

Water waste management has emerged as a critical issue as the world grapples with the impacts of climate change, urbanization, and population growth. According to the United Nations, nearly two billion people experience water scarcity, underscoring the urgent need for sustainable water management practices. "The importance of efficient water waste management cannot be overstated and required particular attention," said Prof. Gassan Hodaifa Meri, a Biochemistry and Biotechnology Professor at Pablo de Olavide University, Spain.

The year 2024 is a special year for FEB UGM. This year, FEB UGM obtained accreditation from the prestigious international business school accrediting body, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), for the third time. Previously, the first accreditation was achieved in 2014, followed by the second in 2019.

Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) has successfully maintained accreditation from the prestigious international business school accreditation body, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). This prestigious accreditation is the third consecutive time FEB UGM has achieved this. It first achieved certification in 2014 as the first business school in Indonesia accredited by AACSB. Then, FEB UGM managed to maintain the first accreditation in 2019 and the second in 2024.
