Until recently, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada continues its efforts to obtain accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business (AACSB). To achieve the accreditation, one of which is to implement the learning goals. The general learning goals that have been developed for the S-1 and S-2 is communication skills, team work, and ethics.

The terrace at the plaza of UGM’s Faculty of Economics and Business suddenly looks crowded and festive just like a birthday celebration. On the stage there are a lot of balloons. Some people on the stage are wearing conical hats made out of paper. It’s not kids who wear the funny hats, but students from Germany. They sang a song from their country of origin, which is certainly not a birthday song.

Still as a series of 56th Anniversary, the Faculty held a creative music performances on Saturday night, 17/09. As per its title, this show displays the creative musicians are famous in the country music scene and abroad, call it Tohpati, Steve Thornton, Alsa, Kang Ade, and Hendri Lamiry.

Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Gadjah Mada in this year reached the age of 56 years. With the theme "Knitted Achievement in the Commitment Integrity and Fraternity ', Dr. Wakhid Slamet Ciptono, the committee chairman of 56th Anniversary of FEB UGM have prepared a series of events to be held starting on September 6-19, 2011.

Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada in August 2011 was off a Bachelor graduates some 114 people, consisting of 93 people from international and regular undergraduate program, 21 people from extension program. Details graduates as follows:
- Regular and International Undergraduate Program: Accounting 46, Economics 8, and Management 39 people
- Extension Program: Management 13 and Accounting 8 people
Graduates with the highest GPA achieved by Yanuar Kurniawan (IUP Accounting 2006) with a 3.99 GPA and is also the highest GPA in UGM Graduation Undergraduate Program for the period August 2011 graduation. The Faculty congratulation to the graduates, hopefully with knowledge gained from attending college can be practiced with the best.
