FEB UGM Team Won the Best Paper Award on Youth Economic Conference 2017

FEB UGM team’s paper won the Best Paper on Youth Economic Conference 2017 held by Gadjah Mada Accounting Days 2017, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada on May 18-20, 2017. The team was consisted of three accounting students, Achmad Faizal Azmi (Accounting 2014), Muthia Ulfa M. (Accounting 2014), and Gadis Wulan Novembrily (Accounting 2014).
Gadjah Mada Accounting Days is the annual event held by accounting student of Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and one of the main event is Youth Economic Conference. This year, the main theme of this conference is “The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Transforming ASEAN Economy Through Digitalization to Increase Nation’s Welfare” with three interesting subthemes.
To be eligible to join this conference, each team should submit a paper which related to subtheme provided by the committee. The subtheme chosen by the team was subtheme 2, which is “Paradigm Shift of Auditor’s Role in the Era of IT Advancement”. Based on paper grading and presentation result, the team from FEB UGM with the paper title “Auditor in information Technology Era: Importance of Their Role and How Paradigm are Shifting” had successfully secured their place to win the Best Paper award in this conference.
