From the perspective of international comparison, Indonesia's economic development is one of the success stories. Indonesia is known as one of the countries that are able to maintain a fairly high growth, a sharp decline in poverty and a low level of inequality. Nevertheless, within a decade later, this began to change: achieving growth tends to decline, there was a slowing decline in poverty levels and increased inequality. What explains the changes in the economic environment? What to do with a good macro development policies as well as those associated with specific social protection? This seminar aims to discuss those questions.
