Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held International Week (for the fifth time) and International Summer University (for the third time). Both events were officially opened on July 23, 2018 at Auditorium Djarum Foundation, Pertamina Tower FEB UGM. The International Week and International Summer University events run from July 23rd to August 10th, 2018.

International Week and International Summer University this year are attended by 120 participants (80 International Week participants and 40 International Summer University participants). Participants are mixed from domestic students and students from several universities in Asia and Europe (Vietnam National University, Royal University of Law and Economics, Rajamanggala University, Burapha University, Keio University, Guangxi University for Nationalities, Southern Denmark University and WU Vienna).

These big events consist of various lecture sessions that will enrich students' knowledge of ASEAN economic environment. The lecture sessions were filled with insightful speakers, including speakers from UGM, Edith Cowan University (Australia), Nanyang Business School (Singapore), Burapha University (Thailand) and Chulalongkorn Business School (Thailand).

Furthermore, many expert practitioners such as Eijima Daisuke from MUFG Bank of Tokyo, Prof. Diane Martin from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and Marco Pietsch (Head of Contract Logistics / Supply Chain Management DB Schenker) were also participated at the events as lectures. In addition to various lecture sessions, participants will also attend company visit to several companies and SME in Yogyakarta.
