Two thousand nine hundred ninety participants took the Computer-Based Written Examination for the Test-Based National Selection (UTBK SNBT) at FEB UGM. Deputy Dean of F.E.B. for Academic and Student Affairs, Bayu Sutikno, S.E., M.S.M., Ph.D., said that FEB UGM provides a total of seven rooms with a total capacity of 260 people to support the implementation of UTBK SNBT at U.G.M. "This year, FEB UGM is again the location for holding UTBK SNBT within U.G.M., which will take place from April 30 to May 7 2024," said Bayu on Friday (3/5) on the sidelines of the review of the implementation of UTBK SNBT at FEB UGM.
In 2024, FEB UGM will become one of the locations for holding UTBK SNBT within U.G.M. 18,726 participants took UTBK spread across 14 exam locations at U.G.M., including F.E.B. Meanwhile, participants with special needs occupy one room in the F.E.B. Learning Center and the Tahir Postgraduate Building, 8th Floor, FKKMK. "In addition to facilitating exam participants with computer equipment with the latest technology, we also provide various supporting facilities that are friendly for people with disabilities and a health team that is always on standby," he explained.
FEB UGM, as part of U.G.M., is firmly committed to becoming an inclusive and sustainable campus. This commitment is realized by developing friendly infrastructure for people with disabilities, such as ramps for wheelchairs, disabled-friendly bathrooms, and passenger lifts. This step was taken to support the achievement of sustainable development goals (S.D.G.s), especially in providing guarantees of inclusive and equitable quality education for all communities. These efforts are not only aimed at strengthening an inclusive and peaceful society but are also a form of providing equitable access for all.
Previously, U.G.M. Vice Chancellor for Education and Teaching, Prof. Dr. Wening Udasmoro, S.S., M.Hum., DEA., said that 18,726 participants took part in the 2024 UTBK SNBT at U.G.M. from April 30 to May 7 2024. The exam was divided into two sessions a day: the morning session starting at 06.45 - 11.00 WIB and the afternoon session starting from 13.00 WIB - 15.00 WIB. "To prevent dishonesty and jockey syndicates, U.G.M. has developed several prevention mechanisms where supervisors will closely monitor each participant," he said during the 2024 UTBK SNBT Monitoring and Evaluation at FEB UGM.
Apart from checking complete identity and supporting documents, each participant is prohibited from bringing communication devices into the room. Supervisors also ensure that participants' faces match their identification and carry out checks with a metal detector.
