Master of Management program (MM) of UGM became the 61st place for the extension of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Corner. With the expansion of the IDX Corner it is expected get the world capital markets closer with academic world. "This is the 3rd IDX Corner inauguration in this year," said Director of Development of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Friderica Widyasari Dewi, on Thursday (10/2), when inaugurating the MM IDX Corner of UGM.

First visit conducted by representative from the University of Adelaide on January 6, 2011. Earlier on January 4, 2011, the representative, Andrew Bain, made presentation at the Central Building UGM’s meeting room that was attended by representatives of the international offices at the faculty that have international programs. The University of Adelaide offers exchange program for UGM undergraduate students for one semester and scholarship of AUD 5000. At the FEB, this visit was received by the Head of Administration, Paminto Adhi, SE., M.Sc. and a staff of international office.

Prof. Dr.rer.soc. R. Agus Sartono, MBA, who is currently the Deputy Head of Education and Religious Affairs, office of Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare, Friday (28/1), was inaugurated as a new professor. Agus who is also a lecturer in the UGM Faculty of Economics and Business, together with Prof. Dr. Ir. Sardjono, M.S. from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology has officially become a member of the UGM Council of Professors. The inauguration ceremony was held in the Professors’ Farewell and Welcoming event led by Acting Chairman, Prof. Dr. Ir. Siti Muslimah Widyastuti, M.Sc., accompanied by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mohtar Masoed at the Senate Hall.
