Two undergraduate students of Faculty of Economics and Business UGM named Muhammad Bilal Dzulqo’dah M (Management 2015) and Rahmad Fitrian Prabowo (Management 2015) have won the 2nd place at Extraordinary Capital Market (EXPLOTION) 2018 in Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta on March 14th-15th, 2018.

Extraordinary Capital Market (EXPLOTION) 2018 is an open competition for diploma and undergraduate students in all universities in Indonesia. This activity was held by the Capital Market Study Group (KSPM) of UMY and they have already been doing this for 3 consecutive years. This year, "Step the Future for Achievement and Investment" was the UCMC’s theme. The purpose of this competition is to improve students' ability, to open their mind regarding any updates or events occurring in the world of capital market. EXPLOTION 2018 also serves as a networking event, as an in-depth introduction of capital market theory and as a practice place to invest or doing stock transactions virtually.

EXPLOTION itself was attended by 47 teams from many universities all over Indonesia. The competition consists of 2 stages. Early selection stage was online trading and paper making, then the top 10 finalists will be invited to the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) to complete the next challenge. On the second or final stage, all participants must present the trading results that has been conducted during one week in the preliminary round to win the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
