On Thursday (23/11), the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) was again proud because its students, Ali Alexander (Management 2021), Huineng Suluh Hidayat Jati (Management 2019) and Muhammad Firdaus Ar Ridho (Management 2019) succeeded in winning first place and first runner-up in the Certified Security Analyst (CSA) Research Competition 2023 for college student category. CSA Research Competition 2023 is an international competition organized by the Institute and the Indonesian Securities Analysts Association. They won this championship on November 23 at Menara 165 Jakarta. Ali and his team's victory is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), goals 4: Quality Education and 8: Decent Economic Growth.

Proud news once again comes from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) students. On Saturday (23/11), the Liquidity Team, consisting of Fikri Adib Rianto (Economics 2020) and Triani (Economics 2020), successfully secured the first prize in the Policy Recommendation Competition category, one of the series of events in the Indonesia Economic Outlook (IEO) 2024. IEO itself is an annual series of forums, seminars, and competitions with an economic theme organized by the Indonesian Economic and Development Studies of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia (Kanopi FEB UI).

Saturday (17/11), the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) again added to its series of achievements: two management students won the 2023 Investment Analysis Competition (IAC) in a series of activities of The 10th Padjajaran Financial Festival (PFF) organized by the Financial Market Community - Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjajaran (FEB Unpad). Team This alliance consists of Ali Alexander (Management 2021), Regina Natasha (Management 2021), and Elsa Firlyan (Management and Property Appraisal SV 2021) and is guided by the supervisor, namely Eddy Junarsin, Ph.D, CFP. This is a national scale competition with the theme "Expanding Capital Market Opportunities in a Dynamic Global Economic Environment".

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) received another good news. On Saturday (18/11), the Infinity Team won first place in the 2023 UNNES Accounting Competition (NECTION). The team consisted of three 2020 Accounting students: Ahlan Nur Salim, Astarina Oksesabatini Rianto, and Yolanda Viera Eka Putri. This achievement aligns with Sustainable Development Goal No. 4, namely Quality Education. NECTION is one of the work programs of the Accounting Study Forum (FOKUS) Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Semarang. With the theme "Creating A Critical and Innovative Gold Generation in Accounting in the 5.0 Era", NECTION 2023 hopes that participants can be motivated to become accountants who can adapt to the challenges of the times.

Proud news once again comes from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) students. On Saturday (18/11), Giacinta Betralda Anin Pradita (Accounting 2021), Tsaniya Nur Afifah (Accounting 2021), and Mia Audini Parhusip (Accounting 2021), members of the MAT team, successfully clinched the first prize in the national level essay competition at the 2023 Education For All (EFA) Competition, organized by Student Executive Board (BEM) - Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (FIP UNESA). The MAT team successfully passed the preliminary rounds. It was among the five teams eligible to present their essay ideas before the judging panel.

Saturday (11/11) The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), was proud again because two of its students won gold titles at the 2023 Foodtech Creative Competition Festival of Food Technology (FCC FESFOOD). This competition is organized by the Student Study Program Association Food Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Udayana, to grow young entrepreneurs with ideas and innovations in the food sector. This year's FCC FESFOOD UNUD 2023 has the theme "Driving Change through Young Entrepreneurship: Developing Functional Business to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)".
