The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) again received good news. On Friday (18/07), the Pairgrowth Team, consisting of Ali Alexander (Management 2021) and Elsa Firlyani (Property Management and Valuation SV 2021), won first place in the national Corporation Stock Analysis Competition (CSAC) 2023. CSAC is a collaborative competition organized by the Management Student Association and the Capital Market Study Group, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Halu Oleo. Through this competition, it is hoped that the younger generation will be able to analyze or evaluate the intrinsic value of a stock so that they are more selective in making investment decisions.

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) again received good news. On Saturday (06/07), the Pairgrowth Team consisting of Ali Alexander (Management 2021) and Elsa Firlyani (Property Management and Valuation SV 2021) won third place in the 2023 Extraordinary Capital Market Competition Vol. 6 (EXPLOTION #6) national level competition held by the Market Study Group Capital of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (KSPM UMY). The competition mechanism consists of two stages: the Equity Research Competition and the Beauty Contest.

Three Bachelor in Management students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) made another achievement, namely 3rd place in the 2023 Andalas National Marketing Plan Competition (ANMPC) national business competition at Universitas Andalas (UNAND), Padang West Sumatra, on May 27, 2023. The three undergraduate students were named the Gasgus Team, consisting of M. Farhan Hidayat, Mochammad Bimo Anggoro, and Sealvie Rahma Abidin, all three from the 2021 undergraduate in Management.

The Financial Services Authority (OJK), together with the Association of Indonesian Islamic Economists (IAEI) and Sharia Financial Services Institutions (LJK), hold a competition in Indonesia Sharia Financial Olympiad (ISFO) 2023 which aims to increase public financial literacy and inclusion, especially students and students. In this competition, the Pertow Team of Johar Ma'mun (Accounting 2020) and Sitti Nur Holisah (Accounting 2020) became representatives from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM.

The State Finance Polytechnic of the National College of Accountancy (PKN STAN) this year will be holding the 2023 National Tax Fair (PRPN) offline after being kept online for a long time. In 2023, the theme is“Achieving Levies Harmony upon Economic Outlook”. FEB UGM students participate in a series of activities from PRPN 2023, namely the National Tax Debate Competition (KDPN), whose registration has been open since April 1 2023. KDPN itself is one of the main events of PRPN, which has been held since 2017. The purpose of this activity is to test knowledge of taxation through debate by discussing actual issues of taxation in Indonesia as a means of contesting ideas for university students in Indonesia.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Student Team, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), made another brilliant achievement in the national competition. This time, the Undergraduate Accounting Study Program students who are members of the Bulaksumur Tax Society (BTS) Team won the Second Runner-Up position (Third Place) in the 2023 Deloitte Tax Challenge. The BTS team, which consists of Adisty Cantika Paramadhina (Accounting-IUP 2020 ), Afif Haidar Endraswara (Accounting-IUP 2020), Azzahra Aulia Hasibuan (Accounting 2020), dan Felicia Angelina (Accounting 2020) demonstrated their extraordinary skills and abilities in the field of taxation, thus achieving this proud achievement.
