The Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM), is again proud because 6 of its students achieved national achievements in the field of accounting. This achievement was achieved in the Accounting Excellence Olympiad (AEO), National Accounting Challenge (NAC) 2023 STAN State Finance Polytechnic. AEO is a national quiz in the field of accounting which is attended by students from universities in Indonesia. AEO NAC 2023 is organized by BEM KM PKN STAN on 12-22 October 2023. This achievement is in line with SDGs number 4, Quality Education and 8 Decent Economic Growth.

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) received another good news. On Sunday (22/10), the First Mover Team won first place in the 2023 National Marketing Plan Competition (MPC) held by the Marketing Club on Teaching (March) at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). With the theme "Marketing in the Hyper-Connected World: Strategies for Engaging Generation with IMZ 7.0", this competition invites students to contribute their creative ideas in developing marketing transformation for MSMEs. The achievement of the team consisting of three 2021 Management students: Rizal Eko Sayudi, Cynthia Nur Azizah, and Nadifa Silvia Maharani, are in line with Sustainable Development Goal no. 4 (Quality Education) and 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).

Once again, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), has garnered a proud achievement. Team Outgrowth, composed of Ali Alexander (Management 2021), Rega Sandinata (Management 2021), and Elsa Firlyani (Management and Property Appraisal SV 2021), clinched first place in the Equity Research Paper Competition Investment Talk & Veteran Stock Festival (I-VEST) 2023. This competition was organized by the Capital Market Study Group of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Yogyakarta (KSPM FEB UPNVY).

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) received another good news. On Saturday (23/09), two FEB UGM student teams succeeded in making brilliant achievements in the Diponegoro Accounting's Harmony (DASH) 2023 event. This is an accounting paper competition held by the Universitas Diponegoro Accounting Department Student Association. DASH 2023 carries the theme "Facing the Global Economic Shockwaves: Strategic Role of the Accounting Profession for Maintaining Financial Stability" as an effort to support the preparation of accounting practitioners who are more competent, adaptive and resilient in facing the phenomenon of digitalization-oriented business transformation. This competition consists of three stages, namely the abstract collection stage, the paper collection stage, and the main round stage.

Saturday (16/9), the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) was again proud because one of its students, Ali Alexander (Management 2021) and his partner Elsa Firlyani (Property Valuation Management SV 2021), who are members of the Pairgrowth Team, won the GIBEI Equity Research Competition (GERC) 2023 at Universitas Andalas (UNAND). This competition is a fundamental analysis essay competition to assess whether the issuer presented by the committee in the case falls into the hold, sell or buy category. GERC 2023 is a national competition within the scope of the GIBEI Fair 2023, which is held entirely online.

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) has again received delightful news. Two teams consisting of FEB UGM undergraduate students have achieved remarkable success in the INFEST (Investment Festival) - Equity Research Competition 2023, an annual event organized by the Study Group of Economics and Capital Markets at the Institut Teknologi Bandung (KSEP ITB). The competition aims to encourage Indonesians to invest and learn more about economics and capital markets.
