A Visit to FEB UGM by the ASEAN University Network

Faculty of Economics and Business UGM received a visit from the ASEAN University Network (AUN) from Thailand on Monday (30/05). AUN itself is a university organization in ASEAN that aims to strengthen cooperation networks in the field of higher education. This event was held offline in the Kertanegara Meeting Room at FEB UGM and was attended by the academic community of FEB UGM and members of AUN. Among them were Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo as Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni Relations, Luluk Lusiantoro as Executive Secretary of AUN-BE, Prof. Didi Achdjari M.Com., Ak., CA as the Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Tandelilin Eduardus, MBA as Program Director of MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus, Ing-or Jeerararuensak as the Chairperson of AUN-QA, Achavadee Wiroopetch as the Senior Program Officer.
In his speech, Prof. Didi Achdjari M.Com., Ak., CA remarked a welcome to UGM and Yogyakarta to friends at AUN. Didi expressed that it was an honor for him to receive a guest from abroad at FEB UGM, who happened to be the Secretariat of AUN-BE. Didi also informed the progress of the joint program held by the University of Agder and the Master's Program in Business Administration atFEB UGM.
The first batch of the ASEAN Master in Sustainability Management will complete the second semester in July this year. After that, students will take part in an internship program and start writing their Master's thesis in the third semester. Meanwhile, the second batch of the ASEAN Master in Sustainability Management is currently still open for registration until 30 June 2022. Interviews for selected candidates will be held around August 2022. After that, candidates who pass the test will be enrolled in an online Pre-MBA course and the first semester will be held offline in February 2023. Finally, he thanked them once again for their visit to FEB UGM.
Meanwhile, Ing-or Jeerararuensak as Chair of AUN-QA also expressed her gratitude for the opportunity given to receive a visit from AUN Thailand. She explained that the ASEAN Master Degree program being held was very important for students. In addition, she also said that the quality of the scholarships given was stellar.
