FEB UGM Releases 415 Postgraduate Graduates Period III Academic Year 2022/2023

All students who passed the Graduation Ceremony for Period III of the 2022/2023 Academic Year felt moments of emotion and pride. The event was held on Wednesday (10/05) at the Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) UGM and was broadcast live via the "Universitas Gadjah Mada" YouTube channel. The accompaniment of Gamelan chants, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, Indonesia Raya, and the Gadjah Mada Hymn, started the ceremony process—furthermore, UGM Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med., Ed., Sp.OG(K)., Ph.D., conveyed the chancellor's message in her opening speech. "After completing your education, UGM expects that you will be committed to developing science and technology and uphold UGM alma mater high school," she said.
Furthermore, the graduation activities for each faculty were continued in their respective places. The FEB UGM graduation ceremony took place in three places according to the study program, namely the Masters in Accounting (MAKSI) on the 3rd floor of the MAKSI Building, the Masters in Development Economics (MEP) at the University Club (UC) UGM Hotel, and the Masters of Science (MSc) & Doctorate (MD) which is also located at UC Hotel UGM but in a different room. In this period, FEB UGM graduated 415 postgraduate graduates, with details of 271 graduates coming from the Masters of Management (MM), 48 graduates coming from the Masters of Accounting (MAKSI), 48 graduates from the Masters in Development Economics (MEP), and 44 graduates from the Masters of Science (MSi) and 4 graduates from the Doctoral Program (MD).
The following are the achievements recorded at the Postgraduate Program Graduation Period III for the 2022/2023 Academic Year.
- In the Masters of Accounting Program (MAKSI), A. Juliadi achieved the highest GPA and graduated with the fastest study period, namely a GPA of 3.93 for 1 year, 5 months, and 3 days of study.
- In the Masters of Science Program (MSi), Agus Sani (Management) achieved the highest GPA with a GPA of 3.82. The graduates with the fastest study period were achieved by Gede Andika (Economics), namely for 1 year, 11 months, and 11 days. Meanwhile, the highest GPA in the Doctoral Program was won by Munjiati Munawaroh (Management) with a GPA of 3.65.
- In the Masters in Development Economics Program (MEP), Michael Gilang Arif Irawan achieved the highest GPA with a GPA of 3.92. The graduates with the fastest study period were A. Nurfadhilah and Aditiyarini Kurniawati with the same length of study, namely 1 year, 4 months, and 6 days.
- In the Masters of Management (MM), the graduates with the fastest study period were achieved by Alifah Hapsari, namely for 1 year, 1 month, and 14 days.
At the Graduation Celebration event organized by the Master of Development Economics (MEP), there were messages and impressions conveyed by Suyanto, S.E., M.B.A., Ph.D. as Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources. He represented the entire FEB UGM extended family to congratulate the graduates for completing their studies at FEB UGM. "I am sure what you (have) learned will be useful in the future, and (I also) believe (that you) can become a leader with integrity," he said. The event ended with a photo session with the graduates. Congratulations to the graduates for the new titles, and good luck for continuing a more colorful journey.
