The Management Student Association (IKAMMA) of FEB UGM, in collaboration with the Career and Student Development Unit (CSDU) of FEB UGM, is pleased to present an internship fair titled Career Insight 2024 at Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) UGM on Thursday (17/10). Career Insight is a unique platform for students, prospective employees, and recruiters to come together. At this event, students find internship opportunities and gain invaluable insights into the professional world through exhibitions of internship programs from partner companies and engaging career talk shows. This is an exceptional opportunity for recruiters to meet potential interns and future employees and to showcase their company's culture and values.

This year's Career Insight theme is "Elevate Yourself: Ignite Your Career Spark, Illuminate Your Future," and features several keynote speakers and renowned companies who will participate in the internship fair and present short talks on career topics. Calista Regina, the chairperson of Career Insight, expressed her hope that this event would serve as a platform for participants to develop their careers and potential.

Meanwhile, Vittorio Valero, Chairman of IKAMMA, also expressed his hope that Career Insight could address the unemployment problem in Indonesia. "This event is a tangible demonstration of our commitment to achieving IKAMMA's vision and mission, particularly in addressing the unemployment problem in Indonesia. We hope stakeholders will continue working together to realize our common vision," said Vittorio.

The Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources, Suyanto, S.E., M.B.A., Ph.D., also delivered a speech. He expressed his happiness for the Internship Fair as it helps connect talented job seekers, especially UGM students, with recruiters. "This is certainly a great moment, and we are delighted with the success of this event. We hope that this collaboration will continue and grow. I would like to sincerely thank everyone involved in making this event a success, both within and outside the faculty," said Suyanto.

The event was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Suyanto, S.E., M.B.A., Ph.D., and the Chairmen of Career Insight and IKAMMA. The first day featured a series of activities, including Talk Shows and Company Sessions, each held three times in rotation. Career Insight will be held over two days, from October 17 to 18, 2024. On the second day, there will be a talk show by Jovial Da Lopez, influencer and CCO of Narasi.tv, with the theme "Leveraging Passion for Professional Gain".
