Two FEB UGM Student Teams Win Awards at the International GAMA BCC 2024

Two teams of students from the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM achieved remarkable success by winning awards at the prestigious International Gadjah Mada Business Case Competition (GAMA BCC) 2024, held on Sunday (11/24/2024) at TMII, Jakarta.
Among the FEB UGM teams that brought home awards were Team Bisa-Bisa, which secured 2nd Winner in the undergraduate category, and Team Semua Rempah Indonesia, which secured 2nd Consolation Winner in the graduate category.
Team Bisa-Bisa consisted of three undergraduate accounting students: Cyntia Ivanka P Simanjuntak (Accounting 2021), Giacinta Betralda Anin Pradita (Accounting 2021), and Azza Maisha Rani Khoirunnisa (Accounting 2021). Meanwhile, the Semua Rempah Indonesia team comprised three Master of Science in Management (MSc) students: Ansari A. Syahafin (Management Science 2023), Fatimah (Management Science 2023), and Cikal Rambasae N (Management Science 2023).
The Gadjah Mada International Business Case Competition (GAMABCC) 2024 is an annual business case competition organized by the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Economics and Business (KAFEGAMA UGM), the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB UGM) and PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur. This third edition of the competition was held under the theme "Indonesia Food Sustainability" and attracted 244 local and international teams from leading universities.
The competition was divided into undergraduate (S1) and graduate (S2) levels. Participating teams underwent rigorous selection stages to showcase their innovative ideas in addressing food sustainability challenges. The stages included Administrative Selection, Preliminary Round, Business Case Challenge 1, and Grand Final Business Case Challenge 2.
The International GAMA BCC 2024 is a platform for students to hone their critical thinking, innovation, and collaboration skills. This achievement aligns with FEB UGM's efforts to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in improving the quality of education and fostering innovative solutions to address food security and climate change while promoting sustainable economic growth.
