"As one of only 6% of business schools worldwide accredited by AACSB International, FEB UGM actively and consistently participates in various AACSB activities, including seminars, conferences, and other events such as the AACSB Associate Dean Conference," said FEB UGM Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs Bayu Sutikno, Ph.D., on Tuesday (12/11/2024).
Bayu emphasized the importance of this conference in broadening insights and strengthening networks with Associate Deans from other accredited business schools worldwide. Participants will gain a broader perspective on business school management through this conference.
"This conference provides an opportunity to interact and network with associate deans from AACSB-accredited business schools around the world, especially those from the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia, providing an increasingly broad perspective," he said.
The conference addressed key topics relevant to current challenges and developments in business education. Topics included the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching, research, and reducing administrative burdens. In addition, one of the most interesting sessions focused on stress management and the dual career challenges associated with deans.
FEB UGM's participation in this conference aims to expand cooperation and collaboration networks with various international partners. It reaffirms FEB UGM's commitment to continuous development as a business school that meets international AACSB standards.
