Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Didi Achjari, expressed his welcome and pride when welcoming 568 new students for the 2023 Undergraduate Program consisting of 423 regular students and 145 international undergraduate students (IUP). "Welcome to FEB UGM, the first business school in Indonesia to be accredited internationally by AACSB since 2014. You have been selected from more than 19,893 applicants, so you are 2% of Indonesia's best sons and daughters," said Prof. Didi when opening SIMFONI (New Student Socialization and Initiation) series at Plaza FEB UGM, Wednesday morning, August 2, 2023.

In order to bridge students and alums, the Career and Student Development Unit (CSDU) and the Partnership, Admission and Alumni Unit (KiAA) Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held Career Days 2023 on Tuesday and Wednesday (15-16/8). This company expo event that opens vacancies is intended for FEB UGM students, especially final semester students and fresh graduates looking for work or are often called jobseekers. Career Days 2023 brings together partner companies and FEB UGM students and is planned to be a solution in finding employment and exploring insights related to the world of work for early semester students.

In order to celebrate the 68th Anniversary, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), held several sports activities, one of which was a basketball match. A Coaching Clinic activity was held with two Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) professional basketball players, Ale Mustofa and Ferdian Ravanelli, to equip potential participants. This session is attended by lecturers, staff, and FEB UGM students who will compete. The basketball competition "BASKET DAYS" lasted two days, 14-15 August 2023, which was held at the Leadership Hall, Master of Management (MM) FEB UGM.

To welcome international students in the fall semester of 2023, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), held a Cultural Immersion Day (CID) activity. This activity was held on Friday (11/8) as an event to introduce Yogyakarta culture and a momentum for international students to get to know each other. This time, the CID activities occurred in several places, including Embung Kaliaji, Omah Salak, Nawang Jagad, and Kembangarum Tourism Village. The international students gathered at FEB UGM and departed by bus to the activity location.

As a forum for connecting ties and bridging aspirations, last Friday (11/8), the Master of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MM FEB UGM) or MBA UGM again held an Alumni Gathering at De Patros Café, Batam, Riau Islands. This Alumni Meeting was enthusiastically attended by no less than 44 alumni in Batam City and its surroundings.

Wednesday (9/08), the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), held an Orientation Day for 69 incoming undergraduate and graduate students for double degree programs and exchange programs fall 2023 from various countries. This event was held offline at the Learning Center Building, 8th floor of FEB UGM. The event started by singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya and the Gadjah Mada Hymn. Dewi Fatmawati, S.E., M.Ec., Ph.D., Deputy Director of Global Relations and Mobility Office (GREAT), warmly welcomed all international students who have travelled long distances to study at FEB UGM.
