FEB UGM held a series of Global Summer Week 2023 events from 5-18 July 2023. One of the speakers in this program was Dr. Frendy, a professor from Nagoya University of Commerce and Business, Japan. He raised the theme "Ethical Corporate Reporting: International Regulations, Standards, and Frameworks" in the lecture, which was delivered in two days. In the first lecture, Thursday (6/07), Dr. Frendy discussed the topic "International Regulatory Landscape". Meanwhile, in the second lecture on Friday (7/07), the topic he presented was "International Reporting Standards and Framework".

Wednesday (5/07), the first lecture of the 2023 Global Summer Week (GSW) program series was officially held at the 8th Floor Auditorium of the Learning Center Building, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM). The inaugural lecture was filled by Dr. David M. Waguespack, a professor in management and organization from the University of Maryland. On this occasion, David explained the relationship between location and regional entrepreneurial growth.

Wednesday (5/07) Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), in collaboration with the the Alumni Family of Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (KAFEGAMA) and Pupuk Kaltim (PKT), hold the Opening of Pupuk Kaltim - Gadjah Mada Business Case Competition (PKT-Gama BCC) took place, marking the start of the event which aims to develop and foster individuals who are dedicated, intelligent, critical, agile, and open in order to increase knowledge and build a dignified nation.

Wednesday (05/07), the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held the opening ceremony for the Global Summer Week 2023 with the theme "Business and Economic Ethics: Imposing Morality in the Market to Build a Better World". This event was held offline on the 8th floor of the FEB UGM Learning Center Building. Global Summer Week, previously called I-Week, is an annual event organized by FEB UGM in the form of short courses in the summer. This year's Global Summer Week events series will take place from 5-18 July 2023.

Monday (3/6), the Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) was honored to host the 27th annual meeting of the Network of International Business and Economic Schools (NIBES). In this year's meeting the activities will last for three days, 3-5 July 2023. NIBES is a global network of 21 business and economics schools from various countries. This network aims to improve the quality of programs in business, economics, and management on a global scale.

Tuesday (27/06), the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), held a self-development program for teaching staff with the theme "Career and Family: Creating an Excellent Generation". This activity was conducted offline at the Function Hall, 8th floor of the FEB UGM Learning Center Building and online via the Zoom Meeting platform. This program aims to provide knowledge and understanding for FEB UGM education staff, both civil servants, permanent, non-permanent, and contract, in carrying out careers as employees and parents in families to create a superior generation.
