There was a different atmosphere on Sunday (9/15). Unusually, the lecturers and staff and their families were seen wearing casual suits. The Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM) held a joint sports event called "Family Fun Day" as a series of events commemorating the 64th Anniversary of FEB UGM. Family Fun Day 2018 is one of a series of 64th FEB UGM Anniversary events with the theme "Unity to Strengthen Quality". Located at the FEB UGM Plaza, the event was attended by the Dean, all lecturers, employees, several partners and the whole family.

Upon succeeding to achieve re-accreditation from The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) continuously shows its commitment in becoming one of the leading business schools. FEB UGM has officially taken part as a member in Global Business School Network (GBSN) starting July 2019. GBSN is an international non-profit organization working to strengthen the network of leading business schools to contribute in fulfilling the needs for future managers, entrepreneurs, as well as leaders in developing countries by improving the access to relevant quality management education in a local atmosphere. FEB UGM believes that their membership in GBSN serves as a way for business schools to build relationships with fellow like-minded colleagues around the world to contribute in programs designed to train and develop member schools and to seek new opportunities to grow and thrive in a global scale.

Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) in the framework of the 64th anniversary held the 4th Gadjah Mada International Conference on Islamic Economics and Development (GAMAICIED), 4th Gadjah Mada International Conference on Islamic Accounting and Finance (GAMAICIAF), and 4th Gadjah Mada International Conference on Islamic Business Research (GAMAICIBR). The international conference was held in the 8th Floor Auditorium of the Center for Learning of the Faculty of Economics and Business, (30-31/08).

On Friday (23/8), the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM) held a Book Launching event entitled “Transformasi Ekonomi Berbasis Digital di Indonesia: Lahirnya Tren Baru Teknologi, Bisnis, Ekonomi, dan Kebijakan di Indonesia” by Prof. Dr. Sri Adiningsih, M.Sc., Chair of the Presidential Advisory Council (WANTIMPRES). The event that was held at the FEB UGM Auditory Learning Center also took part with Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X as the keynote speaker. The book, written by one of the FEB UGM lecturers, provides an understanding and contribution of thoughts on digital-based economic transformation in Indonesia.

Saturday (9/24), the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held an Open Campus event as event for high school students to taste the world of lectures at FEB UGM. This event opens the opportunity for students to attend discussions, sit in class, campus tours, and get to know more about campus life at FEB UGM. Kusdhianto Setiawan, Sivilekonom., Ph. D. as Vice Dean of Finance, Assets, and Human Resources FEB UGM welcomed the students and explained the brilliant prospects of FEB UGM graduates.

Wednesday (8/21) Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada in collaboration with ANU Indonesia project held an academic forum and policy maker Mubyarto Public Policy 2019. Seminar Hall, 8th Floor Auditorium The Learning Center Building of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University became the venue for this event . The event started at 9.00 with remarks by the Vice Dean for Cooperation and Alumni of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, Amirullah Setya Hardi, PhD. and representatives from the Australian National University (ANU) Indonesia Project. “This is the third annual event in UGM”, Amirullah said.
