Friday (18/10), PT. Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) cooperates with the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a Mining Talk titled Natural Resource Management as an effort to build closeness with the public through education about the benefits of mining activities in a comprehensive manner. Indonesia is a country with very high mineral reserves. In nickel minerals, Indonesia ranks third in the global level. In addition, Indonesia recorded a contribution of 39% for gold products, ranked second after China. This makes Indonesia always in the top 10 in the world. With its enormous potential, the mining sector contributes in to non-tax state revenue (PNBP). In its application, mining companies refer to the principles of sustainability in the use of natural resources for the greatest prosperity of the people and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Thursday (10/17) Faculty of Economics and Business University of Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a Public Lecture in collaboration with the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) and BRI Syari'ah with the headline "BPKH Goes to Campus". The event was held in the 8th Floor Auditorium of the FEB UGM Learning Center Building. The event entitled MINA (Mari Tunaikan Haji Selagi Muda) presented various famous speakers including Ustaz Erick Yusuf (Coach at SMP Kreatif iHAQi Boarding School Bandung) , Mr. Wijayanto (Head of Funding and Digital Banking Division at BRIsyariah ), and Mr. Iskandar Zulkarnain (Member of the Implementing Body at BPKH).

Tuesday (15/10) the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) together with The Indonesian Association of Islamic Economist (IAEI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) collaborated to hold the Sharia Economic and Financial Research Forum (FREKS) 2019. The event, which was held at the Sukadji Ranuwihardjo Auditorium, Master in Management FEB UGM was motivated by the development Islamic financial industry which is increasingly complex in the future, and needs to continue to make breakthroughs that can encourage the growth of Islamic finance more quickly, stable, efficient, and competitive.

Tuesday (8/10), the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a guest lecture at the Learning Center Building, 8th floor. Taking the theme of Big Data and Business Analytics: Its Impact on Business, the faculty took Dr. Joe F. Hair, Jr. and Dr. Bob G. Wood from the University of South Alabama as the speakers. This event was held in response to the increasingly widespread use of big data in every line of life, including in the business world.

Saturday (5/10) Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held an event to increase the capacity of Human Resources (HR) in the form of a Work Meeting for education staff in the Faculty Administration Office. Located in Griya Persada, Kaliurang, the activity was attended by approximately 120 people.

Along with the achievements of accreditation, the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas of Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) is committed to developing learning facilities, one of which is by adding Digital Student Lounge facilities. This time, FEB UGM cooperated with CIMB Niaga in developing the facility. The facilities developed are the CIMB Niaga Digital Lounge - the Offline Center for Technology and Observation Laboratory (OCTO Lab) and the Student Club Lounge which later become a place for students to study and observe banking technology as well as the room for Student Activity Unit.
