As written in the McKinsey Report titled "Unlocking Indonesia's Digital Opportunity", although in the future Indonesia is faced with a number of challenges, the effect of the development of digital technology on the Indonesian economy is very large. With abundant of Human Resources, Indonesia is predicted to have strong potential in developing the digital economy based on the industrial revolution 4.0. Armed with this issue, the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) in collaboration with Michigan State University conduct a Guest Lecture with the theme of "Digital Economy and Industry 4.0". The public lecture was held in the afternoon on Wednesday (11/20) in Kertanegara Room of FEB UGM, by presenting speakers, the Dean of Board College of Business, Michigan State University, Prof. Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

On Wednesday and Thursday, November 13-14, the annual CPA Days 2019 event was held by the Indonesian Institute of Public Accountants (IAPI) in collaboration with the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), and the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM). CPA Days is an annual IAPI event and the largest event to share knowledge about accounting.

On Friday (8/11), the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a public lecture on the adoption of PSAK 71.72, and 73 in the construction industry. Located in the Learning Center Auditorium of FEB UGM, the event took Ms. Inggir Elerida Lumban Taruan as Senior Vice President Accounting Division at PT Waskita Karya Persero Tbk as the speaker. This event is one of the responses to the discourse of the adoption of a new Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) which adopted the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on 1 January 2020.
