With more than 50 partner universities, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) is the home of over 150 international undergraduate students every year. This week on February 7th 2019, FEB UGM welcomed 23 international undergraduate students from 10 partner universities spread across 5 countries (University of Groningen, Arnhem Business School, ESSCA, TBS Barcelona, Burgundy School of Business, Johannes Kepler University, WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, Pforzheim University, University of Wollongong and Macquarie University) in its Spring Semester Orientation Day 2018/2019.

Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held the event Research Dissemination Day (RDD) on Saturday (15/12) in the 8th floor Auditorium of Learning Center Building FEB. With the theme of "Exploring Opportunities Amidst Global Challenges and Uncertainty", the event discussed RDD strategies and steps for encountering global uncertainty through the dissemination of research that has been done by the lecturer and researcher from Department of Economics, FEB UGM. Those who joined the research dissemination including Muhammad Edhie Purnawan, Rimawan Pradiptyo, Hengki Purwoto Akbar Ahmad, Susamto, Sahadewo, Sekar Aryo Gumilang Utami Setiastuti, Amri Anjas Asmara, and Traheka Erdyas Bimanatya.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) has produced more than 24,000 alumni from undergraduate, master and doctoral programs. Alumni FEB UGM who are spread evenly in 33 provinces in Indonesia and abroad, have worked in various fields, most of which work as bureaucrats, teaching staff, and other fields.

Kusdhianto Setiawan, Ph.D., as Vice Dean for Finance, Asset, and Human Resources FEB UGM felt enthusiastic in providing training to education staffs to continuously learn and sharpen their skills so that they could become reliable human resources, as he mentioned in an opening speech of the Bio-Psycho-based Holistic seminar-Socio-Spiritual and Effective Communication & Public Speaking Training held on December 4, 2018. The training was conducted at the Auditorium of the Learning Center building, FEB UGM, with the participants as many as 100 staffs from all units of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM.

"Achieved as the UGM Outstanding Student (Mapres) is not planned since the beginning," said Jesita Wida Anjani (Economics-IUP 2016). She was born in Semarang on June 1, 1998, and she is one of the brilliant students in FEB UGM.

National Zakat Board (BAZNAS) is digitising its system to increase the amount of zakat funds. This starts from application system provision to expand coverage, funds collecting services as well as distribution of zakat funds to receivers. “We hope the amount of zakat funds would increase significantly,” said BAZNAS Chairman, Prof. Dr. Bambang Sudibyo, MBA, to journalists after an International Zakat Conference held at Faculty of Economics and Business UGM on Thursday (15/11).
