Alumni of FEB UGM never stops holding a useful talkshow and soft skill training for students. Likewise the event which was held last Saturday (11/11), KAFEGAMA 1988 held an Entrepreneurship Talk Show themed "Be Your Own Boss: How to Succeed in Business." Talk show, which was held at Kertanegara Room, was opened by speech from Prof. Mahfud Sholihin, Ph.D. as Vice Dean in Academics. This talk show was filled by entrepreneurs from KAFEGAMA 1988. They are Ami Ratih, owner of Djene Batik; Franky Suhendra, founder/CEO of Dana Mandiri Group; Tandori, owner of Maya Graha Kencana; serta Metta Dharmasaputra, co-founder/CEO of Katadata.co.id; and moderated by Reslian Pardede, who is Head of Portfolio Prisma.

The annual jazz concert by Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada, Economics Jazz XXIII, was successfully held on Saturday, October 28th 2017, at Grha Sabha Pramana UGM. A day before the concert, Economics Jazz held its second Press Conference in Bogey’s Teras Hyatt Regency Hotel. The event which invited media fellows was filled up by A.Tony Prasetiantono as a promoter, band collaboration which consisted of Idang Rasjidi (keyboards), Mus Mujiono (guitar and vocal), Margie Segers (vocal), Yance Manusama (bass), Iwan Wiradz (percussion), Richard Hutapea (sax), and FEB UGM student Mahesa Santoso (drums); and also international musicians David Benoit, Patti Austin, and Michael Paulo. At this time, Isyana did not come because she had not arrived at Yogyakarta yet. In this Press Conference, these musicians “leaked” to media fellows about their performance on Saturday.

Founder of PT Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional who is also member of Presidential Advisory Board, Jan Darmadi, said while doing business businessmen ought not to victimise other people.
"Businessmen may look for high profit but ought not to victimise the people," he said whilst giving a public lecture in the Auditorium of Master Management UGM on Friday (20/10).

Corruption has been determined as an extraordinary crime, even abusing norms and rules stipulated by the state. Despite prevention and firm measures against it, corruption practices are still rampant today. This is because there is the habit and permissiveness that makes corruption hard to eradicate. These issues emerged in the International Short Course on Psychology (ISCP) titled Corruption, Culture and Psychology Morality: from Research to Policy at Faculty of Psychology. The event presented keynote speakers: observer of corruption criminal economy, Dr. Rimawan Pradiptyo, Psychologist from UGM, Dr. Kwartarini Wahyu Yunarti and lecturer, Galang Lufiyanto, M.Psi., Ph.D.

Last Saturday (14/10), alumni of FEB UGM year '89 held a workshop as well as training session leading a theme "Confidence in Entering Working Environment: Strategies in Arranging Attractive CV and Success in Work Interview". This event was cordially welcomed by the enthusiasm of dozens of students who were attending at Room U212 FEB UGM. This event was begun by speech from Prof. Mahfud Sholihin, Ph.D. as a representative from faculty and Bismo Prayoga, S.E., M.M. as a representative from alumni of FEB UGM year '89.
