To mark the 28th anniversary of Master of Management study program at Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, the theme Innovation for Impact was raised to create more innovations to advance the nation through management science. Head of the study program in Yogyakarta, T. Hani Handoko, M.B.A., Ph.D., said they have campuses in Yogyakarta and Jakarta that have developed fast in the past 28 years. Going forward, they will continue to improve the quality by, among others, education program development to maintain the international accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business (AACSB).

After holding an Audit Simulation with Deloitte, one of Big-four Accounting Firm, on May 14, 2016 Deloitte last Saturday, the Department of Accounting together with Accounting Students Association of Gadjah Mada (Imagama) held similar activities together with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), on Saturday 28 May 2016. As one of Big-four Accounting Firm, PwC brought its 120 auditors to directly involve in the Audit Simulation.

Government and law enforcers are urged to track down millions of financial documents of leaked Panama Papers from a Panama law firm.“The name of Chairman of National Auditing Agency is enlisted in the paper and he has not yet reported his wealth to the state,” said Director for Education and Public Service of the Anti-corruption Commission (KPK), Sujanarko, in the seminar titled Panama Papers: Tax Evasion, Money Laundering, Corruption and Effects on Indonesian Economy, held at Faculty of Economics and Business UGM on Friday (22/4).
