The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) is proud again. At this time, Students of Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM successfully won 3rd place in the 12-hour case of RSM STAR Case Competition. The competition was held virtually from 16 to 23 April 2021 by the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) campus, Erasmus University, Netherlands. The 'Critical One' team consisting of Veronika Xaveria (IUP Management 2016), Erica Lesmana (Accounting 2017), Alexander Tjhung (IUP Management 2018), Mathew Ihot Lorenz Sijabat (IUP Economics 2019) won 3rd place after completing the business case about Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) in 12 hours. In addition, they also participated in a 24-hour business case to resolve cases related to Docubird which is a Microsoft 365 add-in for smart document management.

The Student Team from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) made another achievement. This time, in the national arena, the 'Critical One' team consisting of Alexander Tjhung (Management 2018), Shania Angelina (Management 2018), Moh Andhika (Accounting 2017) and Erica Lesmana (Accounting 2017) won first place in the HSBC Business Case Competition 2021. which was announced at the HSBC Business Case Competition which is an annual business competition for undergraduate students from economics and business faculties from various leading universities in Indonesia organized by PT Bank HSBC Indonesia (HSBC Indonesia) with Putera Sampoerna Foundation (PSF). This year, this competition was followed by 14 representative teams of universities involving judges from corporate executives and experts in the fields of business and corporate.

Selected competitively from 164 proposals submitted to Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK), Orientaru Team, consisting of Veronika Xaveria (Management-IUP 2016), Erica Lesmana (Accounting 2017), and Yudhi Permadi (Accounting 2017) have won the 1st Place of Financial Inclusion Competition (KOINKU) held by Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) with this year’s theme "Women's Economic Empowerment through Financial Inclusion Programs".

In commemoration of the 71st Anniversary, Universitas Gadjah Mada gave awards to the academics, ranging from students, lecturers, educators to UGM alumni who have successfully made achievements both at the international, national, and university levels. The award was given on Wednesday (4/11) ago. Unfortunately, the award that is usually held at the Balairung is now being carried out online considering the pandemic condition which requires physical distancing. However, the essence of giving the award remains the same, even the recipients of the award were very enthusiastic about participating in the whole event.

Two undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM consist of Dwiki Darmawan (Accounting 2017) and Leila Chanifah Zuhri (Accounting 2017) who are members of the WTP Team won the 1st place in the 2020 National Student Competition for Business, Management, and Finance (KBMK) in the category of Financial Audit Investigative which was held on September 25-27, 2020.

Undergraduate student of Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada, Samuel T.M. Silitonga (Accounting 2015) made an achievement for Universitas Gadjah Mada by being chosen as one of the delegates at World Entrepreneurship Investment Forum 2019. Samuel was chosen to be a delegates after going through a competitive startup competition through Young Business Hub (YBH) in which platform receives at least 1246 startups with 14000+ participants from 112 countries. From thousands of startups and participants, screening process was conducted to select around 50 best delegations from 24 countries in the world, as well as all costs of travel and accommodation costs borne by sponsor of the event (fully-funded). Young Business Hub (YBH) itself is organized by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF - OIC Youth Forum) which also works with UNIDO ITPO Bahrain and the Union of Arab Chambers.
